Amphibians and Reptiles
In the amphibians and reptiles section, we offer faithful copies of 22 pieces of mostly protected animals today. These are casts made from zoological preparations, made with modern materials and technology. Animal casts are made of marmorite and epoxy resin and are placed on a natural substrate. The entire model is mounted on a wooden base and labeled on the bottom with the genus and species name of the respective animal. The collection contains 22 life-size amphibians and reptiles, and all models are hand-painted according to typical representatives of individual species. These three-dimensional models provide a faithful representation of the given animal and the entire collection is a comprehensive set that can be used as teaching aids for visual zoology teaching and for museum exhibitions and expositions.
