Fish
In the fish section, we offer faithful copies of 12 of our most common freshwater fish. These are casts made from zoological preparations, made with modern materials and technology. Fish casts are made of marmorite and epoxy resin and are placed on a natural substrate. The entire model is mounted on a wooden base and labeled on the bottom with the genus and species name of the respective fish. The collection contains 12 species of fish in life size and all models are hand-painted according to typical representatives of individual species. These three-dimensional models provide a faithful representation of the given fish and the entire collection is a comprehensive set that can be used as teaching aids for visual zoology teaching and for museum exhibitions and expositions.
